The Apprentice Mentor Training Workshop equips manufacturing professionals in our apprenticeship consortium with essential skills to effectively guide and develop apprentices in the workplace. This comprehensive training addresses unique mentoring challenges in manufacturing environments while providing practical tools for fostering apprentice success. Participants will learn to understand the mentor's role in apprentice development and apprentice success, apply effective communication techniques for different learning styles, develop structured approaches to on-the-job training and skill assessment, create supportive learning environments that promote apprentice growth, and balance production demands with apprentice development needs. The 6-hour training is scheduled for 2/11 and 2/18 (you attend both).
